Fulton Volunteer & Participation Opportunities

There are many ways for neighbors in Fulton to get involved.
Here are some of them:

FNA Board - Run for election to your neighborhood board at its annual meeting every September.

Fulton Block Contact/Block Club Leader - Become an information source to your block for FNA and for the CCP/Safe with the Minneapolis Police Department.

Community Engagement Committee - Help organize the Fulton Festival held every year in September.

Fulton's Landscaping for Rainwater Management - Help promote environmentally sound rainwater management practices to homeowners.

Buckthorn Bust - Help remove the invasive shrub from parkland and educate homeowners about removing buckthorn on their property.

Fulton Safety Committee - Get involved with projects that promote safety and awareness in Fulton.

Getting to the Bottom of the Ballot - Participate in local government and election issues.

Lake Harriet School Paired Reading Program - Read once a week to elementary school children who are behind in their reading skills. Call 668-3310 for more information about this project.

Fulton Garden Club - Monthly meetings with a variety of activities including flower shows, garden tours, speakers, and trips to unusual gardening stores. Contact Kay Grady at kgrady2@juno.com.
