There are a variety of
options for managing rainwater on-site:
Rain gardens: A
shallow depression is created in your yard to collect rainwater
and is planted with beautiful native plants with root systems
adapted to variable moisture conditions.
Downspout redirection:
Rainwater is intercepted and redirected
to areas specifically designed to encourage rainwater storage
and/or infiltration.
Rain barrels:
Downspouts are directed to a rain barrel that safely collects
and stores water for later use in your yard or garden.
Infiltration systems:
Underground cells or trenches are installed to receive rainwater
and encourage infiltration.
