Block Leadership Opportunities

Fulton Neighborhood is currently involved with the Block Club Program through Community Crime Prevention (CCP/SAFE) with the Minneapolis Police Department to organize residents promoting community and safety in our neighborhood. About 30% of our blocks are without Block Club leaders. If you are not aware if your block is organized through a Block Club leader (someone who plans a block party and distributes safety alerts) and would be interested in finding out how to organize, please contact CCP/SAFE at (612) 673-2819.

In addition to the Block Club leaders, the neighborhood has been organizing residents to serve as Block Contacts. These individuals, often the same person as the Block Club leader, serve as a contact on the block for Fulton NRP and the Fulton Neighborhood Association. Information regarding neighborhood events, projects and significant issues will be distributed through the Block Contacts. To become a Block Contact call the Fulton Neighborhood Line at (612) 922-3106 or send us an e-mail.
